A Poem for my Valentine

Cos today is valentines,
I thought I’d try and within these lines
To put in writing how I feel,
To let you know that it is real.
Though you know on you I’m stuck
When it comes to poems I suck.
I can’t comprehend the rhyme nor verse,
For taking English is a curse
But alas I’ll try my best
Because you stand out from the rest,
You’ve got the charm, the looks, the wit,
And I adore every single bit.
Roses are Red and violets are blue,
Blue’s what id be if I didn’t have you.
Grass is purple and cows are green,
Everything to me you mean.
Oops! Grass is green and cows have spots,
When we're apart I miss you lots
I love your laugh, your voice, your smile,
This list could go on like the Nile,
For like the nile my feelings run deep,
And memories of us I keep,
In my heart and in my mind,
The bond we have is one of a kind.
So now the final couplet Imust,
Write to make this poem just,
But the perfect couple would have to be
What exists in you and me

First Kiss

I know you not
but I know you true
this feeling of comfort
runs deeply through

I have longed for this time
when our souls would collide
in perfect rhythm
in perfect stride

Deep passion abound
thoughts of bliss
Anticipating our first
perfect kiss

Our eyes lock fast
in a love filled gaze
this moment will last
a million days

a wave of pleasure
a most intense heat
filled my body
when our lips did meet

My most romantic memory
I am sure of this
I will always remember

Even though we haven't known each other for a lifetime
The only person I want to be with is you
The way you look into my eyes makes my heart skip a beat everytime
You smile sends chills down my spine
And when I'm down or really blue
You have that touch to make me that crazy person you say I am
And on a day like today I've always wished that you'd say to me that you will be mine

That give their light for all to see,

You are my North, my East and West.
And in your arms I long to rest,
From all the cares the world would bring.
From dark of winter to life of spring.

If I were a seedling with potential to thrive and grow,
I'd want to flourish in your soul, within its sunrise glow.
If I were a flower, I'd want to blossom `neath your touch
and feel the passion of your heart which pleasures me so much.
I'd want to dance my petals, round and round, for you to see
how very much I care for you, how much you mean to me.
If I were a garden, I'd want to grow inside of you
in different shades of red and gold and violet and blue.
I'd laugh within the sun-light like I've never laughed before
and send its music to your heart like waves upon the shore.
Kiss my lips, kiss my cheek, be my Forever Valentine.
Come live inside my heart and soul and say that you'll be mine

You Are....

When I think about the distance
that my life has led me through
there’s no other explanation
to be lying here with you
and it’s nothing short of mystical
( a miracle, you’d say )
the hunger pangs of missing you
grow stronger everyday...

so someone must have listened to me
wishing on the stars
for no one’s kissed so gracefully
and passionate, by far
and if tomorrow holds some hope
it isn’t that bizarre
cause I’ll admit, if someone is,
that woman...
then,

Valentines day is fun and cool
Always being with the right one
Long last love has came back
Eternity would be to together
Never to be alone
Time is nothing even for the one
Icecream would be a neat idea
Nice and loving to your mate
Ever lasting with each other
